Dear Principals of De La Salle high school and school personnel

전통있는 라샬고등학교와 대한민국의 영주제일고등학교가 교류하는 협약을 체결하게 됨을 기쁘게 생각합니다.

It’s such an honor to implement an exchange cooperation agreement between 영주 Jeil high school in Korea and De La Salle University Senior High school having a distinguished history.

이번 계기를 통해 양교의 학생들이 세계를 향해 꿈을 펼치며 글로벌 리더들로 성장하는 멋진 시작이 되길 바랍니다.

Through this chance, I hope that students from both schools could play a leading role to achieve their dreams in the world.

영주제일고등학교는 75년의 역사를 지닌 공립 고등학교로서 교사와 학생, 학부모, 동문들이 서로 신뢰하며 행복을 만들어가는 학교입니다.

영주 Jeil high school is a public high school having a history of 75 years and is built on the trust and happiness of teachers, students, their parents and alumni.

올 해 우리 학교는 Culture up, Collabo up, Create up, Clean up의 4C-up에 중점을 두고 교육하고 있습니다.

This year, Jeil high school is focusing on the educational motto of Four C up, which means Culture, Collaboration, Creativity and Cleaned Mind up.

문화적인 역량과 감수성을 키우고, 교과와 교과를 연결하는 협응력을 키우며, 남들과 다른 독특하고도 창의적인 생각을 높이고, 깨끗하고 올바른 심성을 가꾸는 교육을 하고 있습니다.

We, Jeil high school faculties, are trying to foster the cultural competency and sensibility, increase the coordination between subjects, develop students’ unique and creative thinking ability and cultivate the pure heart - we called cleaned or clear in Korean - and righteousness.

훗날 양교의 인재들이 세계 무대의 주인공으로 성장하여 세계를 이끌어가는 훌륭한 인재들이 되기를 소망합니다.

I hope that talented students can grow up to the main characters of the stage called world and lead the world in the future.
